Entry #7

I have found that using these tunnels that I found is very convenient, as I am able to travel way faster than I would normally be able to if I was traveling above ground. Earlier, I encountered some scorch marks on the soil, a sure sign that other dragons have been here recently, but how recently I can't tell. I have also found out that a particular kind of root that is yellowish brown in color tastes delicious! I'm going to have to find out what kind of plant the root is from, but for now I will just have to keep eating the ones I find in these tunnels.

I wonder if these tunnels are what caves are like. From what I've heard, caves are like big holes in a cliff or hill and you sometimes have to chase bears and wolves out of them! I wouldn't want to have to do that, though, because I wouldn't have the slightest idea how to fight a whole bunch of angry bears or wolves. I have also heard that caves can be anywhere from a big chunk of ice floating in the sea to underneath dead volcanoes where there are tubes left over from the lava that used to be there.

The day before yesterday I found a big lake that was absolutely filled with fish! When I was finished there I must have caught at least twenty fish, and I was only there for about an hour! After I had caught all the fish I cooked them (and burnt a few) and put them in my meat bag, but not before I tried a few. They tasted... fishy!
